36 wks and Still Smiling....Barely

Huge, huge, HUGE...that's the one word to describe the past week- and the following weeks, I am sure. Little man is ready to come soon. To say that we are ready for him would be, well, it would be false ;-) We're getting there though!!

Topsail Beach Fun

For my birthday this year I wanted to have a nice chill time at the beach with close friends. We went to Topsail Beach and booked this fabulous house ON the beach...right at the water. It was gorgeous and fun - Everything a 30th birthday should be ;-) We played games, hung out on the beach, watched movies and football, and had great conversation...when the girls were ASLEEP! They put together a really fun evening for my birthday with cake, candles and balloons...it was wonderful...more than I could have asked for.

Siena is getting quite daring in her older age! Although, she doesn't want ALL her tricks to be revealed on film... you'll see what I mean in the video ;-)

34wks...Good Lord!

We are getting to that point now where every little pain, ache, contraction makes you wonder... 'is this it??' Slowly, but surely, we are getting things in order around the house. All the neutral clothes that Siena had are now out of storage and arranged in drawers by size. New pump tubing has been purchased (for the breast pump) and we have a place to put him if he decides he would like to sleep...doubtful, I know ;-)

So, we are getting there. Now, if only we had a name for him....

As if there was ever a doubt...

Siena is growing up to be JUST LIKE DADDY!!!

Silly Time

Siena is a pretty funny little girl so there are lots of "silly" moments to capture. Everyday she does something new that makes us laugh. Here are just a couple of the most recent:

Peeking out from the tunnel at the indoor play area

Trying on Mom's sunglasses...and NOT giving them back ;-)

Putting her mesh laundry bag over her head (it was safe, I promise!)

Waving "hi" to every car that passed us by (this picture was taken at a stop light)

Making funny noises at lunch time and laughing hysterically after each one

Playing PEEK-A-BOO with the wet paper towel I gave her to clean her hands...this is my personal favorite ;-)

School's in Session
