Sleeping Beauty

Siena has been a little under the weather lately and has been a terror to put to bed. So as you could probably guess, she has been a bit tired. I was trying to get her in her pajamas when she decided she was going to play with the dogs and...well...anything else that could prevent me from getting her in the pajamas! The video is really cute. Siena was going to walk with her toy BUT only if something came with her....take a look and see!

Thanks to Roxy for waking her up again!! Haha!

Talking Siena

I thought this video was just adorable...

Ankle Biter

For the longest time Siena didn't have any teeth. We kept waiting and waiting...and waiting...through the drooling, through the crabbiness (this could've been any number of things but we liked to pretend it was "teething"), through the sleepless nights until one beautiful day in October I finally felt 2 tiny teeth poking through her bottom gums. The funny thing is for the all the waiting we did for the 2 teeth there was only a few more months to go until she had 6! So now that she has her 6 little teeth we figured we needed to start taking care of them. Here is Siena brushing her new little teeth for the first time. She really enjoyed herself which was very exciting.

Go Patriots!

We watched the game as a family today (and by "as a family" I mean Nick and I watched the game while I artfully distracted Siena so she wouldn't watch the TV). Here's our "Go Pat's" family pictures...

By the way, the reason I had hot pink pants on was because I was going to my night shift right after the game was thru. So, no, I am not colorblind, just had my scrubs on! Also, I wasn't drinking before work...we were trying to get Siena to hold a beer bottle because we thought it would be funny. Since she wouldn't, Nick and I just look like bad parents ;-) Haha!

Playing with Friends

These videos are hysterical...Seriously. I watched Ella and Addie this past Saturday night and to see the three of them play was so fun. They really have such a blast together. Its nice to know Siena already has some wonderful friends to play with (No Amy, I am not sucking up to you!). Watch these videos and LAUGH!

I still can't watch this next one without busting out laughing EVERY TIME!

Snow...are you KIDDING?!

We live in NC. The last time we saw snow here was in 2004-05 when Nick and I had been here only 6 months. I thought it was great. We had about 2 inches of snow over night and I was called off work...for 3 days! The problem in NC isn't the snow, it's the lack of services to go along with snow. Being from MA, whenever there is hint of ANYTHING that might look like a snowflake the plows are out patrolling and the sand is being dumped on every road. Not here...you know what happens when snow is in the forcast? Nothing...well, except for every family in the area freaks out and buys every supermarket out of all their provisions, which just causes accidents and traffic jams. The good thing about snow in NC is that in the next few days the temp will climb to 65 degrees and all will be right ;-) Doesn't get any better than that!

"And I'm walking..."

Here are a couple more adorable movies of Siena walking....

Uh Oh...Here comes TROUBLE!

Siena has decided that she does not want crawling to be her only mode of transportation....

Things are about to get so very hectic. Not so sure how I feel about that but I definitely don't have any choice. Also, I am really excited that Siena is starting to take steps. It was really amazing to see for the first time. I couldn't believe it! Nick taught her how to use the toy she has in the video, and walk with it....he did this YESTERDAY. She really is a fast learner ;-)

2007 Christmas

Some videos from the holidays..... We had a really great time in MA!

New Year, New Me

SO it is 2008 and I have resolved to finally post on this blog that I have owned since....well, since a while ago. As I type this Siena is waking up from her nap.... Well, I guess this will count as a post ;-) This will be the happenings of us....Nick, Kelly, Siena and the dogs. It won't be written well, as I am not the writer in this family, but I can guarentee pictures...lots and LOTS of pictures and some videos along the way. All it took was to finally sit down and write something. Here it is and here we are!
